Oak is not in. But white shaker is!
Out with the old and in with the new. This remodel was easy peasy. The footprint was already open and airy. The cabinets were falling off their hinges, and flooring was crumbling and cracking. A complete safety issue.
The clients wanted to keep their black appliances, so matte black fixtures were used throughout.
Two different types of surfaces were used as well – to save on costs. The clients loved a smaller remnant piece for their island, and contrasted that with a wavy quartz for the surround.
